Nana’s Irish Pub in Newport, OR is cooking our ahi tuna for the tuna sandwiches. You can also have the tuna on a nice salad. Nana poaches a Ahi loin in wine with herbs then uses it for these dishes. It’s wonderful! A recipe for this will come soon.
Island Wild Seafoods
Great fish is hard to find.
We take pride in providing succulent yellowfin and bigeye tuna (known in the islands as ahi), swordfish, mahimahi, wahoo (ono), moonfish (opah), hebi (spearfish), marlin, pomfret (monchong), escolar, and mako shark. It’s so fresh when we process it that we don’t need to use any preservatives to mask the quality – try it for yourself.
